Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the bookmua.ng mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform is owned and operated by BOOKAMAKEUPARTIST.NG LTD.

By downloading, accessing, registering on or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines published on the Platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
The bookmua.ng mobile application and any updates or versions thereof.
Any person who uses the Platform to search for, communicate with, book or obtain makeup services.
An independent professional makeup artist registered on the Platform for the purpose of offering makeup services to Customers.
Makeup, beauty or related services offered by a Makeup Artist through the Platform.
A request made by a Customer through the Platform for a Service at a specified date, time and location.
A Service provided by a Makeup Artist at a Customer's specified home, hotel, office, event venue or other location selected by the Customer.
Any fee charged by the Company for facilitating the use of the Platform or a Booking.
The amount payable for the particular Service selected by the Customer.
Any Customer, Makeup Artist or other person who accesses or uses the Platform.
2. About the Platform
The Platform is a technology-enabled marketplace designed to connect Customers with independent Makeup Artists.
The Company does not, unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Employ the Makeup Artists listed on the Platform
- Act as the agent of a Makeup Artist
- Provide makeup services itself
- Guarantee the availability of any particular Makeup Artist
- Guarantee that every Makeup Artist will meet every Customer's individual preferences or expectations
A Makeup Artist is an independent service provider responsible for the professional performance of the Services offered by that Makeup Artist.
The Company may facilitate communication, scheduling, payment, customer support, reviews and other administrative aspects of the transaction.
The Company reserves the right to introduce additional services, features, fees or functionality to the Platform from time to time.
3. Eligibility to Use the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform independently.
Where a person below 18 years is to receive a Service, the Booking must be made and supervised by a parent or lawful guardian who accepts responsibility for the Booking and the minor's use of the Service.
By registering on the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- 1All information provided by you is true, accurate and complete
- 2You have legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- 3You will maintain the accuracy of your account information
- 4You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4. User Account
Certain features of the Platform may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and must immediately notify the Company if you suspect unauthorized access.
You shall not:
- Create an account using false information
- Impersonate another person
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Permit another person to use your account
- Use another person's account without permission
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, misconduct, breach of these Terms or other unlawful activity.
5. Makeup Artist Registration & Verification
Makeup Artists may be required to provide information and documentation before being permitted to offer Services through the Platform. Such information may include:
Important: Verification does not constitute a guarantee, warranty or representation by the Company that a Makeup Artist is suitable for a particular Customer or Service. The Company may suspend or remove a Makeup Artist where information supplied is false, misleading, incomplete or materially inaccurate.
6. Booking of Services
Customers may search for Makeup Artists based on available information including location, availability, pricing, services, portfolio, ratings and reviews.
A Customer may request a Booking by selecting:
- The desired Service
- Makeup Artist
- Date
- Time
- Location
- Any other information required by the Platform
A Booking shall only be regarded as confirmed when the Platform displays or otherwise communicates confirmation to the Customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied for a Booking is accurate, particularly the date, time and location.
The Company shall not be responsible for delays or failed Services resulting from incorrect information supplied by a Customer.
7. Home Services
Where a Customer requests a Home Service, the following obligations apply:
Customer obligations:
- Provide an accurate and sufficiently safe location for the Makeup Artist.
- Provide a reasonably safe, clean and suitable environment in which the Makeup Artist can perform the Service.
- Not request a Makeup Artist to enter or remain in premises where there is a reasonable risk of violence, harassment, abuse, unlawful activity or other danger.
- Not harass, threaten, assault, intimidate or otherwise engage in inappropriate conduct towards a Makeup Artist.
Makeup Artist obligations:
- May refuse or terminate a Home Service where the Makeup Artist reasonably believes that the environment is unsafe.
- Must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully while providing Home Services.
Serious safety incidents, threats, violence, harassment or suspected criminal conduct may be reported to the appropriate law-enforcement authority.
8. Prices & Fees
Prices displayed on the Platform shall be those applicable to the relevant Service at the time of Booking, unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary between Makeup Artists based on factors including experience, location, type of makeup, duration, materials and other factors.

Value Added Tax on every completed transaction
A Makeup Artist shall not impose additional charges on a Customer outside the Platform unless the additional charge was disclosed and agreed before the Service, or the Platform expressly permits such additional charges.
Refund Note: Where a transaction is successfully completed and later results in cancellation, the Makeup Artist shall be entitled to her full payment. However, where the cancellation arises from unforeseen circumstances caused by the Makeup Artist, the Customer shall be entitled to a full refund.
Where the Platform requires payment through its designated payment system, Customers must not circumvent the Platform's payment system for the purpose of avoiding applicable fees or charges.
9. Payment
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors integrated into the Platform. By submitting payment details, you authorise the applicable payment provider to process the transaction in accordance with its applicable terms.
Card Security
The Company does not ordinarily store complete card details where payment processing is performed by an independent payment processor.
Fee Deductions
The Company may withhold, deduct or remit applicable Platform Fees, commissions, refunds or other amounts in accordance with the applicable payment arrangement.
Artist Payouts
Where a Makeup Artist is entitled to payment following completion of a Booking, payment may be settled in accordance with the Company's payment schedule and applicable Artist Agreement.
10. Cancellation & Rescheduling by Customers
A Customer may cancel or request rescheduling of a Booking through the Platform, subject to the applicable cancellation terms displayed at the time of Booking.
Depending on when a Booking is cancelled, the Customer may be entitled to:

The cancellation policy applicable to each Booking shall be displayed to the Customer before or at the time the Booking is confirmed. Repeated cancellations, particularly shortly before scheduled appointments, may result in restrictions on the Customer's account.
11. Cancellation by Makeup Artists
A Makeup Artist is expected to honour all confirmed Bookings. Where a Makeup Artist cancels a confirmed Booking without reasonable justification, the Company may take the following actions:
The Company shall make reasonable efforts to assist Customers affected by a Makeup Artist cancellation but does not guarantee that a replacement Makeup Artist will be available.
